This is a opportunity for an experienced Remote Sensing Scientist or Engineer with minimum 3 years experience in implementing operational data processing software for Metop andor Meteosat instrument data and analyzing the resulting product quality. The Engineer will support EUMETSAT contribution to EU FP7 ERACLIM2 project for reanalysis of global climate observations by constructing long term time series of Meteosat products with improved consistency over time. The position is full time and unlimited and based in Darmstadt fully on customer side in EUMETSAT. Earliest start date is October 2015. Submission deadline for applicants is beginning of September 2015.
