(Telecompaper) US pay-TV provider Dish Network activated 2.601 million gross new subscribers in 2014, down from 2.666 million the prior year. The company said it suffered particularly in Q4 2014 and Q1 2015 from the loss of Fox channels, due to its dispute with 21st Century Fox over carriage fees. Pay-TV average monthly revenue per subscriber still increased to USD 83.77 from USD 80.37 in 2013. Average monthly subscriber churn increased slightly, to 1.59 percent from 1.58 percent.
