A shared Wi-Fi, is a wireless network that you share with someone or someone shares it with you, e.g. Public Wi-Fi's of Airport, Cafes, Libraries, Clubs, Railway Stations etc. If someone else is also using the network to which you are connected it is regarded as "Shared" i.e. more than one user of network.
