Recently, in the news I've being hearing about how the CEO of Microsoft tried to justify how women should or shouldn't ask for raise. I find this very unfamiliar territory for me, reason being, I've always found the women in my life were more assertive when asking for a raise compared to the male counterparts.

Here is our update on the Edmonton real estate market. . For the past 7 days: New Listings: 368 # Sales: 258 Ratio: 70% # Price Changes: 232 # Expired/Off Market Listings: 161 Net loss/gain in listings this week: -51 Active single family home listings: 2463 Active condo listings: 1421 Homes 4-week running average: $432k Condos 4-week running average: $254k Looking at the chart it seems sales are lagging behind last year's numbers - that's a little surprising to me seeing how far ahead we were last month and the level of activity we're seeing at our office.

While house sale prices remain somewhat flat, a significant increase in sales has the Victoria Real Estate Board optimistic about local market. Victoria and Esquimalt sales helped push the regional numbers to 565 properties sold in September, an increase of 16 per cent over the same month last year.
