Thomas Gibson, president and CEO of American Iron and Steel Institute, has been elected chair of NAM's Council of Manufacturing Associations to serve 1-year term. Gibson has been a CMA member for more than 5 years, serving as vice chair for past year. He has chaired, co-chaired, or founded numerous industry coalitions. Prior to joining AISI, Gibson served as senior vice president of advocacy for American Chemistry Council and also as chief of staff for EPA.
