One of our space clients in Germany is looking for a System Engineering Consultancy Support. The Key person will carry out tasks which support activities typically related to Phase BC of a space programme in the area of system design engineering and architecture definition. The submission deadline for applicants is the 14th January 2016. Tasks Justification of the system design including producing and maintaining any relevant analyses and budgets. General support to system engineering activities, for example Documentation of system design and interfaces. Support to the technical coordination with Partners. Support to segment level activities and reviews as required. Participate to System level formal reviews. Qualifications The Key person shall have a university degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline relevant to the job profile together with the experience and capability to fulfil the assigned tasks with a minimum of supervision. Knowledge and Experience At least 5 years demonstrated experience in the field of large scale systems engineering and architectural design. Demonstrated ability to analyse systems from an endtoend perspective. Capability to prepare design documents, to perform systemlevel analyses and to produce and maintain technical budgets. Experience in earth observation satellitebased projects, particularly in the areas of near real time data processing or spacecraft control systems would be an advantage. Experience with Model Based System Engineering with the support of dedicated tools. Space and ground system engineering processes and standards. Skills A high degree of autonomy and good analytical skills. Sound interpersonal skills to conduct the responsibilities described above with a minimum level of supervision.
