Capacitive Displacement Sensor makes precise measurements.
2014-09-24 14:31:13| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Model CPL490 measures position/displacement with 50 picometer precision or less. Relative to non-contact sensor's measurement range, that translates to resolution of less than 7 ppm even at 15 kHz bandwidth. When bandwidth is increased to 50 kHz, precision is <0.3 nm. Typical resolution is 7 ppm, and thermal stability is 0.02% FS/°C. Available probes have internal electronics and feature 8 mm dia clamping area for mounting.
