The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should bring the following skills and experience A minimum of 5 years experience in the following mandatory areas Software Engineering with extensive experience in designing and developing software components and applications in the Java and CC programming language under UnixLinux using Object Oriented OO approach Software development, verificationvalidation and maintenance, using a formal life cycle Knowledge of long term archive system architectures and functions Provision of first and 2nd line maintenance support for operational systems Relational Databases JDBC and SQL XML, XML Schema and XSLT technologies. Junior Engineer, Integration and Test Luxembourg Betzdorf Role description summary The O3b mPOWER Test engineer will be responsible for testing in a lab environment of the systems and subsystems of the O3b mPOWER setup. The endtoend services of a MEO satellite constellation link are integrated and tested and require a thorough process of integration testing and validation. The system components integrated include an endtoend Modem Platform test environment, a MEO satellite link emulator environment and a resource allocation software dedicated for the link management of the system. After the lab test and validation phase, the test engineer will be responsible to migrate the system into an operational environment and ensure through an initial phase of live air testing the transition to operations of crucial systems.
