LSE Space is looking for experienced Engineer mfd in order to fulfill the duty of Navigation Operations Engineer to be part of our Service Team to support our customer ESAESOC in DarmstadtGermany. For our activities at ESAESOC, we are currently seeking to employ highly motivated and enthusiastic Navigation Operations Engineers to support the area of Precise Orbit Determination POD. Typical activities shall cover the following tasks The main activities of the Navigation Operations Services we are currently providing to ESOC consist on processing data from a combination of a number of GNSS receiver networks, including the ESA network plus optionally subnetworks providing data by contractual agreement and publicly available data CDDIS. The data are processed in batch mode or in realtime, in the ESOCs Navigation Facility. Service products typically include orbit products restitution and prediction and highrate clock solutions both for the ground and satellite clocks. Beside near real time products enhancedaccuracy offline or final products may be delivered, as well as additional or auxiliary products station coordinates, geophysical data e.g. Earth Rotation Parameters ERPs, satellite properties, etc.. For the POD engineering support and consultancy, our Service Team members shall have Proven and demonstrated experience in Navigation Operations Services andor Precise Orbit Determination. Fluency in English, both in speech and writing A very good knowledge in GNSS, SLR and DORIS tracking systems and data processing. A very good knowledge in POD algorithms and software development. A very good knowledge in modelling of satellite dynamics and signal propagation effects Proficient in Unix andor Linux, shell scripting languages, Fortran 77 andor 95, C andor C. The broad portfolio of development projects pushes the need for test execution in the development process. In a newly reorganized test department, GomSpace now focuses the test execution resources across the various RD teams from baseband electronics, RF electronics, software and firmware, mechanics etc. To this team, with direct report to the Test Manager, we now seek a Test Engineer. The workplace is located at GomSpaces HQ in Aalborg, Denmark. You ensure the test capabilities As Test Engineer, your primary tasks are to do design verification qualification test of new products under development. This includes for example Verification and validation tests performed in GomSpaces wellequipped laboratory. Radiation tests performed at an external partner in Denmark, where products are subjected to radiation, while undergoing functional tests. Mechanical and structural tests performed at a local partner, but GomSpace is also in the process of building equipment at their own location. Thermal tests performed at GomSpaces own facilities, where they have a combined temperature and vacuum chamber. Here they do functional tests of products in a space environment. In order to perform this job, you will get acquainted with a huge park of hightech measurement equipment. A practical experience with process optimization You probably hold a relevant education in electronics on technician, bachelor or master level. More importantly, you have at least 5 10 years of practical experience as a Test Engineer with knowledge within electronics, mechanics, measuring technique and system testing. We do not expect you to have concrete knowledge of all the abovementioned tests, but surely a will to learn them. You can coordinate smaller tests projects, where you create test scripts and plan the test execution.
