China is even giving signs that its minimum wages could be raised in a more flexible manner in the coming years. Our report displays minimum wages in a large number of apparel manufacturing countries, with latest data updated as of April 1st in US$ terms, compared with January 2015 and January 2014. Minimum wages in local currency units are also released for most countries.

Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs® (NBT) announced 2016 Summer Manufacturing Camp grant winners. Ranging from $1,000–$2,500, 33 grants were awarded to community and technical colleges offering day camp experiences that introduce young people between 12 and 16 years of age to careers in manufacturing and engineering. These camps, according to FMA and NBT president and CEO Edward Youdell, expose youth to vocational and technical trades no longer available in most public education systems.
