The frame contract is EO PDGS Evolution Earth Observation Payload Data Ground Systems which involves evolving and enhancing all aspects of the infrastructure supporting the various missions. The EO area has been growing rapidly and will continue to do so. As a contract extension, ESA wishes CGI to manage a series of small changes to their existing systems. This role is to perform technical analysis of the changes in conjunction with ESA and the incumbent suppliers, prepare specifications requirements, interfaces, liaise with suppliers for implementation and supervise acceptance testing. The successful candidate will work with the existing EO team in Leatherhead and will gain exposure to a large number of current and future EO projects. We are looking for a technical handson security engineer, who has practical experience of System Administration who is interested in continuing to develop their career in Security. Skills Essential Experience of applying security Risk Assessment to the software development life cycle Experience of writing security test plans and reports Experience of implementing Firewall and Routing Rules Manage a penetration test exercise of applications Providing adhoc support for application developmentmigration work stream Good client facing and communication skills. Report writing skills inline with skills grade. Experience in the following topics Information Security concepts involving Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability Threat and Risk Assessments Network and Physical Security zoning requirements Knowledge in ISO 27001 or similar Good knowledge of Information security devices and defence technology Desirable Knowledge of Unix and networking Knowledge of pfSense firewall application Knowledge of security risk for Cloud based services Experience of ESA, space industry, Earth Observation or other large scienceindustrymedia data user.
