RHEA is currently recruiting a Spacecraft Operations Training Officer to support Low Earth Orbit and Geostationary programs operations teams including MTP, MSG, EPS, Jason23 at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Maintain the Operations Department Training Policy to be used as a guide in the definition, implementation and subsequent assessment of training. Develop and implement a Training Plan to ensure operations readiness at the end of the operations preparation phase. Assess the training needs for individual team members based on their roles and the associated training requirements Manage the implementation of individual training activities, including identification of a training provider either internal or external coordination with the training provider on the definition and preparation of training arranging for training venues and aids, reproduction of training materials, etc coordination of the training schedule preparing and presenting training where applicable Support in the preparation and implementation of initial training for new Controller Team members leading to their assessment and certification Maintain a Training Database as required to record the preparation and implementation status of training courses. Assess the performance of training activities to determine the effectiveness of training provided and provide feedback to optimise future training activities Monitor the performance of operations in order to identify any areas where additional training may be required in order to maintain operational readiness Ensure all training materials are maintained up to date through regular audits and reviews Ensure all training materials are readily accessible via the Document Management System and Intranet Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline At least three years experience in the preparation and implementation of training activities for large groups. Experience in the design, preparation and implementation of a Training Plan for operations personnel. Experience of spacecraft and their control systems, mission ground segments, and their 247 operations Experience of Operation Preparation and procurement phases for new programmes. The following skills would be highly desirable Microsoft Office Suite 247 satellite operations environments Training tools and techniques, including remote training Intranet and Extranet technology A relevant trainingrelated qualification How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
