ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY 6month internship, starting in Q3Q4 2021. Under the agreement with ESA, the SESled consortium of industry partners will establish a Quantum Cryptography Telecommunication System QUARTZ, a new platform aimed at providing a global service for nextgeneration encryption keys for use in geographically dispersed networks. Based in Betzdorf Luxembourg, you will contribute to the QUARTZ working as part of an engineering team, developing and evaluating technical and business scenarios, analyzing existing competitors and opportunities in the target market. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Support the implementation of cybersecure networks, key encryption and authentication algorithms, and key exchange protocols within the framework of the Quantum Cryptography Telecommunication Systems QUARTZ project. Perform literature review regarding quantum key distribution existing projects. Perform literature review regarding alternatives to quantum key distribution such as PostQuantum Cryptography PQC or others. Support the preparation of documents and presentations Perform other related tasks as required YOUR PROFILE Being an advanced Bachelor or Masters student in Cyber Security Engineering or Telecommunication or ICT or in a relevant technical area Basic understanding of the space and telecommunications industry Strong interest in the telecommunication and space domains Sound knowledge of IP networks and protocols Software Knowledge is a strong asset Willing to learn and quick learner Excellent analytical and judgment skills Ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines Work independently as well as in a team Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset EU nationality or work permit for Luxembourg. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support to the definition, review and update the GOVSATCOM security policies and processes. 2 Support to the preparation, review and update of the technical security documentation related to GOVSATCOM. 3 Support to production and maintenance of Analyses about Threat and Security Risks to the GOVSATCOM Programme. Support to the analysis of GOVSATCOM Security Service Provision aspects e.g. dualuse, by drafting and reviewing securityrelated technical notes including business impact analysis, continuity and contingencies plans, audit plan, threat analysis, etc.. 5 Technical support for the handling of security aspects related to coordination and Support to stakeholders, including meetings e.g. task forces, expert groups.... Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters Degree in a relevant technical domain. A minimum of 5 years of experience working performing the above tasks mentioned. Experience in SATCOM and particularly in security related activities. Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Organised, dynamic and proactive attitude. EGNOS System Security Engineer

Position Reference 1028 We are currently looking for an EGNOS System Security Engineer to work for our Client in the city of Toulouse, France. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Contribute to the technical management of the system and segment infrastructure activities, with a particular focus on security aspects e.g. security risk treatment, accreditation, .... Support the follow up of the system definition, design, qualification and acceptance activities for the different EGNOS versions and service, in line with the security risk analysis, i.e. with a particular focus on the security measures and operational aspects. Support the security and technical analysis of the architecture and specifications for system and ground segment upgrades to ensure coherence and compliance with the security requirements and identify impacts on baseline security documentation. Monitor the system security status, following up anomaly resolution through the implementation of Work Arounds, fast fixes, midtermlong term correction. Contribute to the specification, design and follow up of such resolution to be implemented by industrial contracts. Contribute to the follow up the development of EGNOS V3 services from the system and infrastructure point of view. Represent the security service team in the system engineering processes and in the relevant boards as necessary including but not limited to Change Control Boards, Anomalyvulnerability Review Boards, Qualification Review Board, Acceptance Review Board, Tender Evaluation board. Support the EUSPA security management as needed. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters Degree in a relevant discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in the System. To be organized, dynamic and proactive. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Eligibility for Security clearance EU Secret.
