Within the Generic Systems and Infrastructure Division GSI, the Information Security Operations Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of information security engineers and for operating security solutions and delivering information security services across the organisation and supporting the continuity of operations. What youll be doing Leading a team of information security engineers both directly and via service contracts, securing longterm availability of the critical skills and maintaining uptodate technological awareness Delivering reliable information security services, ensuring that processes and procedures are in place and followed, providing monitoring and reporting services, delivering input to security policies and supporting the security design process across the organisation Leading maintenance activities, ensuring the continued availability of information security infrastructures and security services to the customers Playing an active role in introducing new security systems into operations with adequate levels of documentation and testing Acting as the main interface to customers for fault resolution and incident followup activities e.g. root cause analysis, lessons learned Leading the EUMETSAT Computer Emergency Response Team EUMCERT, including all activities related to incident response as well as interfacing the Security Operations Center SOC operations, which is an outsourced service Leading activities related to vulnerability management and ethical hacking, e.g. penetration testing, redbluepurple team exercises and similar Managing and coordinating relevant Service Level Agreements Establishing and maintaining appropriate contacts with special interest groups relating to security, andor other specialist security forums. Skills and Experience Requirements Experience of team leadership, including management of performance and maintenance of key skills and knowledge Proven experience in operations and maintenance of security solutions and security services, including network security, and highavailability systems in an operational environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive attitude and ability to work autonomously under pressure with a minimum of supervision. Critical thinking, methodical and organised approach to work combined with an aptitude for detail and accuracy. Recent experience leading a security operations centre as well as experience with virtual and physical network environments from both technical and management perspective, with focus on security, are an advantage. Demonstrated experience in the following technical domains is also required Network security systems engineering and operations Identity and Access Management solutions, including Privileged Access Management Security monitoring, auditing, incident response and ethical hacking on operational systems Intrusion detection, prevention and response solutions host and networkbased. Cyber Security Consultant

We are currently looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to act as an interface between the technical specialists, IT and the client on matters related to Cyber Security and how this intersects with technology and risk. The key person will also provide the interface between the client management and the consultants working on site. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Technology Advisory Support the IT teams in identifying risks based on attack surface and perceived threats. Make recommendations on improvements. Provide support to the technical specialists on Cyber Security. Provide support to management on Cyber Security matters Define requirements. Risk Advisory Monitoring and analysis of Cyber Threat Intelligence CTI in relation to attack surface and risks in collaboration with the CTI expert. Provide summaries of the riskthreat mapping to management with the help of the CTI expert. Make recommendations on what Threat Intel and riskrelated feeds should be used. Maintain a list of Cyber Threats and any mitigations. Support the IT people in determining the risks and attack surfaces. Act as the liaison between the subject matter experts and the client management. Provide support to Subject Matter Experts SME on interfacing overall Cyber Security objectives to their specific domains. Report to the management and the stakeholders. Provide support to the GSMC Operations team on any other tasks under its responsibility. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University Degree in the relevant discipline. Significant demonstrable experience in a Cyber Security related environment with at least 4 years of relevant experiences. Theoretical and practical experience in technology risk and threat mapping. Theoretical knowledge of CTI and Vulnerability Management practical experience is considered a plus. Experience in working within complex project environments involving several stakeholders. High level of proficiency in the English language at least C1 level. The following skills would be highly desirable Certifications on information security e.g. CISSP or similar syllabus information security or relevant trainings e.g. SANS. Experience in assessing CyberSecurity risk attack surfaces. Working experience in knowledge of the Space environment. Knowledge of digital forensic from a conceptual perspective. We are looking for an Assistant Security Officer to support the Health, Safety and Security Section, in the Directorate of HIF. Overview The post covers support in the field of Security Management under the responsibility of the Head of the ESTEC Health, Safety Security Section. As such it involves oversight of security operations and ensuring that security management procedures are properly conducted at ESTEC and it includes the following responsibilities. Oversight of the security contractor that provides guarding, access and visitor management, monitoring, reporting, fire prevention and firefighting services. Ensuring the physical security of the ESTEC site, buildings, activities and events on site. Ensuring proper physical protection of the ESTEC site and adequate preparations for accidents, incidents, calamities or security infringement are in place. Executing investigations into security incidents and any lessons to be learnt. Monitoring and reporting on security practices on site. Maintaining up to date documentation in respect of security procedures and the compliance with relevant policies and standards. Analyse data and reports to form proposals for improvements. Support the ESTEC Head Health, Safety Security Section. Represent the Security and Safety Section in meetings requiring security input and coordination. Appropriate skills and specific experience in the following fields. Proven record of working experience in an International and multicultural context like ESTEC. Knowledgeability to quickly grasp and deal with the ESTEC ethos and culture. Ability to write and reviewcorrect technical documentation reports, procedures in the English language. The official languages of the agency are English and French. A very good knowledge of English and a good knowledge of Dutch is essential. The incumbent must have excellent communications skills and the ability to work under demanding conditions and deal with complex situations. Hisher ability to swiftly grasp, gain knowledge of and be able to work effectively with the particulars of the ESAESTEC site, theoperationalprocedures and the organisational culture, is essential. Specific qualification requirements A Degree Bsc., Diploma or equivalent from a recognised institution or equivalent is required. Applicants for this post should have in depth previous experience in the field of security supported by formal training. Experience in security management, conducting investigations and in conducting security compliance and improvement exercises, is important. The applicant should be able to establish effective interfaces. Tact and very good communication skills are required. The applicant must be willing and able to hold a Personal Security Clearance PSC while in post. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively, autonomously and cooperatively in a diverse and international team environment. A very good working knowledge of spoken and written English is essential. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA. Prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident. Location The work will be performed at the European Space Technology and Research Centre ESTEC at Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Contract The selected candidate will receive good remuneration in line with ESA Job Class. Will be registered for both social security and tax in the Netherlands. The standard working hours are 40 per week. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday.
