Radio Navigation Engineer J 2628 Summary An experienced radio navigation engineer with relevant experience of the GNSS and GALILEO systems and equipment and have and good knowledge of Radio Navigation simulation and testing systems. Objective To provide support to Navigation End to end Validation activities in particular in the area of Public Regulated Service PRS. Responsibilities Duties Support to Navigation End to end Validation activities in particular in the area of Public Regulated Service PRS Integration, Validation and Qualification of ESA PRS End to End Validation Tools in order to establish are reference frame of tools for ESA and Member States PRS Test Benches. Establishment of a trainingvalidation programs in the ESA Classified premises that enables any PRS Participant to either bring their PRS prototype receiver or use an ESA PRS Receiver TURP in order to undergo a compressed Validation Training Program with ESA experts Support for PRS Ground Receivers Integration in Galileo Remote Sites through the preparation of the Site Accreditation and Equipment Qualification Data Packages and supporting the installation onsite Provision of adhoc support to PRS Member State Test Benches whenever required to ESA Galileo Security Office Qualifications Experience MSc in related field Specific knowledge in the design and testing of Radio Navigation systems and equipment Strong knowledge on the design of satellite navigation systems, ranging and positioning techniques, RF, key management and, signal processing techniques, and digital navigation receivers Several years of experience relevant with the GNSS and GALILEO systems and equipment and have and good knowledge of Radio Navigation simulation and testing systems Specialist in the implementation, maintenance and operation of complex Radio Navigation simulation and test facilities testing receivers and applications Eligibility for security clearance Essential Skills Excellent command of English both written and spoken Qualities Team player with attention to detail Further Details All roles within Telespazio VEGA have a defined closing date, however if a successful candidate is found before the advert expires the role will be closed early.
