Tasks The Key person shall work as a member of the Image Quality Assessment Team supporting the mediumterm and longterm monitoring, operation and further development of Level 1 data processing systems. The Key person shall support the quality assessment and validation of the Level 1 image products for current and future GEO missions but will also provide support to current and future LEO missions in this area. For our activities in EUMETSAT, we are currently looking for an Image Quality Assessment Engineer to work as a member of the Image Quality Assessment Team of INRC Image Navigation, Registration and Calibration supporting the mediumterm and longterm monitoring, operation and further development of Level 1 data processing systems. The key person shall support the quality assessment and validation of the Level 1 image products for current and future GEO missions but will also provide support to current and future LEO missions in this area. Moreover, heshe shall support the development and maintenance of monitoring software for Level 1 image quality assessment as well as support the software maintenance of the operational Meteosat Second Generation Level 1 data processing systems. This includes a significant contribution to and active participation in verification and validation test activities. In addition, the key person shall also support the operations preparations for future MSG spacecraft and may be required to support the development activities for the MTG Meteosat Third Generation and EPS Second Generation missions. The activity is assumed, as a baseline, to require the fulltime participation of a Key person for the duration of the contract.
