As Communication System Engineer, you will have the opportunity to support provision of ESA Ground Facilities Operations Services. In particular, you will provide system engineering, maintenance and operations for the Mission Operations Infrastructure Information Technology the network and the communication system. This position is based in Darmstadt, Germany. Indepth knowledge of Cisco design methodologies, technologies and solutions ideally including enterprise WLAN infrastructure. It will be beneficial if the key person holds current Cisco certifications or equivalent Security skills associated with securing the communication system eg next generation Firewalls, VPN, intrusion detection and prevention, strong authentication.
