The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that work at the SE 122nd Avenue Bridge over Johnson Creek will require intermittent lane closures from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning February 1.

First St. bridge work stalled over access

There has been little work done on the First Street bridge in the last three weeks because the province failed to get an access agreement with the landowner. On Dec. 30, Canadian Pacific Railway discovered construction equipment operating on its property near the bridge, according to CP Rail a Sspokesman Andy Cummings.

The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority announces multiple lane closures on the Northbound Powhite Parkway daily from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm starting Monday, October 19 through Friday, October23 from MM 1.4 to MM 0.6. Motorists are reminded to pay attention to signage in the area, and to use caution while traveling through the work zone.
