Software Development Engineer 6 months project Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Responsible for the Software Development of the PDG In particular will be in charge of the analysis, coding and testing of algorithms described in textual form, andor by equations and with parameter data lists mainly simulating the impact of the overall MTG data acquisition chain encompassing the geometric, radiometric and spectral deformations but also a few other processing like spatial resamplingremapping and data fusion functions which aim at adapting the sampling and map projection of external data to be prepared for the MTG instrument data generation Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification of the PDG Documentation Detailed Design, Test ProceduresReports, User Manual Being able to use the Payload Data Generator PDG, e.g. for user support and training Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Degree in aerospace engineering, space technology, electronic engineering, physics, computer sciences or comparable qualification Approx. two years of experience in the domain Good image data processing skills Good level of software development experience with the C and Python languages Good knowledge of mathematics to be able to understand algorithms will be advantageous Excellent conceptual analytical skills Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. Airtel, China Mobile partner on LTE development

(Telecompaper) Indian operator Bharti Airtel has signed a partnership agreement with China Mobile. Under the terms of the deal, Airtel and China Mobile will work towards the growth of the LTE ecosystem and evolving mobile technology standards. The two operators will also develop a joint strategy for procurement of devices that include Mifi, smart phones, data cards, LTE CPEs and USIM.
