Development Engineer for Static Analysis Deadline for applications 21022020 Job Description For our client we are looking for a Development Engineer for Static Analysis for their location in Bremen, Germany. The candidate will work as a development engineer for static calculations in the task areas of analysis, strength verification and qualification of components and structures in aerospace. Tasks and Responsibilities Analyses for the qualification of substructures as well as for the evaluation of construction deviations Static calculations using the finite element method NASTRAN for the evaluation of Strength, deformation and thermal stresses and for load determination Model creation from CAD data Catia with the help of preprocess programs such as PATRAN, ANSA or Hypermesh Strength checks by means of manual calculations Interpretation, documentation and presentation of the results Evaluation of construction deviations Independent planning, execution, evaluation and documentation of screw friction value tests. Requirements At least a Bachelor Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering At least one year of experience with calculation of statics in the aerospace sector Several years of professional experience in the field of structural analysis of primarysecondary structures in aerospace are required In depth knowledge of MSOffice and Nastran Experience with CAE programs like ANSA, Hyperworks or PATRAN is desirable German at least advanced English at least business fluent French language skills are an advantage The ability to quickly recognize and analyze technical connections and functionalities Independent, structured and resultoriented work, in order to achieve goals on time and to coordinate work processes efficiently Strong communication skills to work with contacts at all levels A high degree of persuasiveness and assertiveness to represent the respective interests well. Tasks and Responsibilities Securing the damage tolerance and operational stability of space structures metal and composite structures, components, tanks, fuel lines Definition of load spectra and determination of load spectra from measurements Professional selection and qualification of inspection procedures NDI Assessment of material properties depending on environment, material technology and manufacturing process Application of numerical methods for the determination of stress intensities and local stresses, crack propagation simulation, fatigue analysis Esacrack Software Package Derivation and implementation of damage tolerance requirements for components and subsystems Ensuring structural integrity Fracture Control Program and monitoring implementation Conversion of external and internal requirements into functionalities for components and subsystems within the framework of predefined concepts Development of damagetolerant components and subsystems Support in the development of damagetolerant, complex components and subsystems Implementation of the latest materials and technologies available on the market, Components and tools for subsystem development as well as their production and testing and if necessary after agreement on their use Interpretation, documentation and presentation of the results Evaluation of construction deviations. Orange announces EUR 1.5 bln skills development and retraining programme

(Telecompaper) Orange has unveiled a number of HR objectives as part of its 'Engage 2025' strategic plan, saying that it will invest over EUR 1.5 billion to adapt and strengthen the skills of its employees. The group has the ambition to involve its entire global workforce in a new skills development and retraining programme. Under the plan, it will focus on key technical areas such as network virtualisation, cloud, big data, artificial intelligence, coding and cyber security. The number of experts in these fields will double to reach over 20,000, said the company, adding that all employees will also have the opportunity to develop soft skills as well as technical expertise.
