Providing current carrying capacity up to 15 A at 125 Vac, Model 739W-X2/45 features built-in shutter system which prevents foreign objects from touching electrically live components when they are inserted into slots. Plugs can be inserted and removed just as with standard electrical outlets. Designed with quick snap-in mounting configuration, NEMA 5-15R outlet will work with panel thicknesses from 0.8–2.0 mm. Insulation displacement connections eliminate need for special tools.

NEMA published ANSI C78.376-2014 American National Standard for Electric Lamps—Specifications for the Chromaticity of Fluorescent Lamps. Last published in 2001, revision modifies specifications, and updates and partially harmonizes this ANSI standard with IEC chromaticity color point objectives and chromaticity tolerance in IEC 60081 Annex D. Standard covers objectives and tolerances for chromaticity of fluorescent lamps at their normal 100 hour rating point.
