Heartland will Oversee Bison Coach Operations

Thor Industries Inc. subsidiary Heartland Recreational Vehicles LLC announced it has integrated operations for specialty trailer manufacturer Bison Coach into its growing portfolio, effective Feb. 8. Thor, through a wholly-owned subsidiary, acquired the net assets of Bison Coach in October of 2013 from an operating unit of Navistar Inc. Bison Coach, originally founded in 1984, is known for its rugged, high-quality and affordable specialty trailers, including a full lineup of equine trailers equipped with living quarters. "We're excited to team up with one of the most successful companies in the horse trailer business and bring Bison Coach into our family of companies," said Heartland President Chris Hermon in a press release.

Job description For our customer, ESAESTEC, we are seeking an experienced Spacecraft Operations Engineer, to work on robotics missions, at ESTEC in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Responsibilities The post holder will report to the head of the Robotics and Future Projects office, in the Directorate of the Human Spaceflight and Operations. The duties of this post will include Operations engineering for the European Robotic Arm and Meteron projects, and for future projects such as technology demonstrations on ISS Liaise with EAC, GCTC and RSC Energia for instructor and crew training issues, including maintenance of the ERA Astronaut Training Database ATD Software management andor rapid software prototyping for the projects in the office Logistics organisation for ERA integration and launch campaign, Meteron experiments and test campaigns in analogue sites field tests. Support the development of specific qualification andor ISS flight demonstrations of technology items needed for human exploration. Performance of system definition studies for future human exploration developments. Support the Office and Division in other tasks as required. Qualifications Competencies University degree in Engineering. Experience in space operations. Knowledge of the International Space Station Programme. Robotics engineering knowledge. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands Applicants must be eligible to obtain security clearance by their national security administration.
