For our activities in Germany, we are currently looking for a person to provide Operations Quality Assurance Consultancy Support. TASKS Contributing to the provision of QA support and advice to members of OPS, to help ensure the correct implementation and performance of operational activities, in accordance with EUMETSATs Management System and all relevant OPS procedural documentation. Following selected operational activities, attending relevant operations meetings and identifying any aspects of concern of process QA relevance. Reviewing OPS procedural documentation procedures, guides, working practices, etc., ensuring consistency with the OPS documentation library in general and with the document conventions in use. Providing assistance guidance in the definition and implementation of processes to members of OPS. Supporting assessments of OPS processes and service reviews, recommending improvements where appropriate. Establishing, maintaining, analysing and reporting on metrics which provide insight into selected OPS processes andor operational services. Supporting Risk Management activities in accordance with the OPS Risk Management Plan organizing and advising risk reviews, maintaining risk registers, following up mitigation actions, and producing report information. SKILLS University degree or equivalent in a technical subject and at least 3 years experience of a QA process assurance role, preferably in an operational 247 data processing andor serviceprovision environment Experience of satellite ground segment operations would be of special value Able to work and communicate effectively in English Mandatory Knowledge, Experience and Skills Good knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard Experience of working in an environment where an ISO 9001 certified management system is used Good verbal and written communication skills Experience of documenting work activities in the form of process definitions, procedures and working practices, plus good userviewpoint writing skills Experience of QA auditing andor process assessment Skilled in using the Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel and Outlook EU national or valid work permit for Germany CV in Europass format Complementary Knowledge, Experience and Skills Knowledge of ISO 31000 Risk Management andor experience of the activity Knowledge of ISO 27001 Information Security Management andor experience of the activity Possession of an auditing qualification, e.g. for ISO 9001 Experience of using Microsoft Office Visio and Powerpoint 5.3 Working Language Knowledge of French

TASKS Provision of support to the daily monitoring and first line support of the Data Centre, and analysis and reporting of operational anomalies. Provision of support to the user queries received by the user service helpdesk regarding Data Centre services. Support to the development of Data Centre tools for monitoring and reporting. Provision of support to prototyping concepts for evolving the Data Centre services to support current and future EUMETSAT programmes. Provision of support to the test automation of the Data Centre evolutions. Provision of support to the development of new formats for the Archive data. Provision of support to metadata content and their specification in the new formats. Preparation and maintenance of Data Centre documentation such as operational procedures and service guides for users. Preparation of material to support the usage of Data Centre services. SKILLS University degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering science discipline Excellent team working skills, able to work autonomously and have good analytical skills. The variety of the tasks and the scope of the systems to be supported require also very good communication, presentation skills combined with the ability to perform under high workloads The key person shall have skills and experience in the following mandatory areas Fluency in English is mandatory with good communication skills EU national or valid work permit for Germany CV in Europass format Minimum 3 years of skills and experience in Working in an operations environment supporting the analysis of system and user support issues Good knowledge of the testing and test automation for a complex hardware and software system Experience of working with Earth Observation data formats, their visualisation and processing Programming experience in Java language, UNIX environment, scripting in Shell and Perl Technical knowledge for specification, validation and transformation using XMLXSDXLT and their associated tools Experience in using SQL to access relational databases such as Oracle Experience of handling and manipulating binary data Distinct advantage Experience in the development of the product formats, ideally netCDF and HDF. Good knowledge of standards, conventions and guidelines for the specification of metadata for Earth Observation data, for example Climate and Forecast Conventions. For decades, DuPont™ Tedlar® polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) film has protected the delicate wiring and components of photovoltaic modules. Widely used as backing sheets, Tedlar® PVF film has set the solar energy standard for strength, weather and UV resistance, and moisture barrier properties.To keep up with the growing needs of the photovoltaic energy market, DuPont Photovoltaic Fluoroproducts recently completed an expansion of its Fayetteville, North Carolina, plant to augment other PVF manufacturing facilities. DuPont technology associate Jim Simmons was given the assignment to work with the DuPont design organization to select and install the distributed control system that would automate the new Tedlar® operation. Simmons knew he needed a distributed control system (DCS) that could accommodate more than 600 DuPont-approved field devices from different vendors, adding up to more than 1,100 I/O points.
