Package description Excellent Salary Corporate Benefits Package Relocation Assistance if applicable Further information available from the Serco Europe Recruitment Team Ideal candidate The ideal candidate should bring the following skills and experience Musthave Understanding of industry Standard DevOps principles and methodologies with regards to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery CICD Formulating the proofofconcepts for integrating applications with different architecture styles MultiTier, WebWorker etc Prior experience of integrating web applications Java based and Offtheshelf products as well in clients infrastructure Strong experience in formulating migration strategies with minimum impact and downtime Must have understanding of the industry standard IT Service management and change management principles Clear communication of technical goals, dependencies, risk and status updates to the team and relevant stakeholders Providing weekly reports to relevant stakeholders Requirement gathering from business area, delivering deliverables and writing technical documents for the operations team Proficiency in drafting technical documentation Windows System Administration, File Share services, Application packaging Should have experience in configuringsupporting multifactor authentication Should have experience in Single Sign on, Authentication, Active Directory LDAP, Public Key infra PKI Strong experience in Microsoft infrastructure, troubleshooting GPO related issues Should have experience in Network Firewall configuration and troubleshooting Should have experience in scripting, ideally Powershell Should have understanding of versioning system , preferably Git Preferred experience in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Nice to have experience of working with JIRA and or related tools Nice to have experience of working with MS Project and MS Visio Important Any offer of employment is contingent upon you providing documents to verify your identity and employment eligibility, as required by law. Your future duties and responsibilities Development and utilization of complex Earth Observation applications which can be easily integrated in existing business processes for clients both from the Space and industrial sectors. Those applications are mainly focused on satellite image processing. Data and requirements analysis to answer client needs and to generate new business values Design and specification of full stack as well as development of prototype applications as proof of concept Working closely with the clients While working with satellite raw data it is necessary to process image data on both 2D and 3D levels and use state of the art visualization techniques to cope for changing client requirements. Projects are mostly structured in agile teams consisting of Earth observation experts as well as software developers which present their results on a regular basis to all involved stakeholders from all departments both from client as well as from CGI. Required qualifications to be successful in this role University degree in Geo Information Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Maths or equivalent, Excellent problem solving capability and willingness to take ownership of matters and to drive them forward, Knowledge in remote sensing based on satellite images Profound knowledge in radar lidar based image processing Basic understanding of photogrammetry and or computer vision Profound knowledge in imagedata processing Knowledge in programming script languages such as Python, C, C, Java, etc. Knowledge in image generation and processing languages such as OpenGL, DirectX, etc. Aspiration to learn and improve your skills and capabilities, EU nationality Fluency in both written and verbal English Apart from the subjectbased knowledge you are a communicative, proactive and inquisitive team player who actively listens to the clients needs and is able to analyze their requirements quickly and up to the specification.
