Job description Responsible on behalf of ACS to manage and coordinate a Research and Support Service onsite at Customer premises located in Rome area in agreement with the priorities set by the Service Board. Coordinate the activities of a team composed of 8 to 12 specialists. Manage the interaction with scientist, third party service providers e.g. IaaS or Cloud providers and Customer partners as necessary. Ensure service performance monitoring and necessary corrective actions. Provide regular reporting. Liaise with Service Board, providing the agenda and managing the presentation of the service requests, issues and reporting. Manage input to the Service Board on the basis of stakeholders requests. Support Earth Observation Education and Earth Observation communication and outreach activities. Deliver presentation of Earth Observation related contents. Desired Skills and Expertise Generic Skills Fluent English language oral and written Autonomy in writing technical notes, specifications and reports in English Good inter personal skills and team spirit Previous working experience in multinational environment is desirable Very good knowledge of MS office tools. Education Master Degree either in Computer Science or Remote Sensing. Experience Proven al least 5 years successful Service Coordination and management of a team of 812 people is required. Soft Skills Proactive, service oriented attitude and ease with research activities.
