A local real estate agent was sentenced to five years in a federal prison and was ordered to pay $568,400 in restitution to victims in a mortgage fraud case that went on for 11 years. The U.S. Attorney's Office in Phoenix announced the sentencing of Julio Cesar Esquivel Reyes , 41. He lives in Tolleson.

Raymond C. Reggie, 52, of Mandeville, Louisiana, pleaded guilty on Oct. 27, 2014, to five counts of wire fraud. Some of the conduct to which Reggie pleaded guilty he committed while on supervised release from a prior fraud conviction.
