The wine warehouse will no longer require customers to buy a minimum of six bottles in some of its stores, in an effort to compete with supermarkets Majestic Wine has started selling single-bottle sales in a bid to counter dwindling sales at its warehouse-style stores. SCRAPPING the Air Passenger Duty airport departure tax could create up to 61,000 jobs by 2020, according to an airlines-commissioned report. APD abolition would also boost the UK economy, allow airlines to offer more routes and lead to a 7 per cent increase in overseas visitors by 2020, the report said.

Airlines have been told that they should tomorrow scrap as many as 50 percent of the 4,000 services that begin or end in France during a normal day, up from 40 percent Wednesday, according to the country's DGAC civil aviation authority. The French unit of Air France-KLM Group halted two-thirds of flights at its Paris Orly short-haul hub today, allowing it to maintain most of its lucrative long-haul operations.
