Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climaterelated satellite data, images and products for its users. You will have the following responsibilities Requirements engineering, which consists in functional and performance analysis for justification and validation, requirement allocation, and refinement and maintenance of the requirements baseline Design, conceptual build and configuration which results in a physical architecture, described by its complete functional, physical and software characteristics System analysis for the purpose of resolving requirements conflicts, decomposing and allocating requirements, assessing system effectiveness Performance of trade studies for assessing effectiveness, risk, cost and planning Planning for integration and verification to demonstrate that the deliverables conform to the specified requirements Support to the preparation of, and participation in, phase reviews Participation in reviews and meetings at system, ground segment system and element level Support to the preparation and maintenance of schedule, resource allocations and work breakdown structures for the GS system engineering activities. Skills Experience A university degree or equivalent in the domain of engineering or science Extensive experience in the specification, design including functional analysis and modelling, implementation, integration, and verification of large and complex Earth Observation ground segments Experience in the preparation of ground segment requirements and design documentation Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
