Development Engineer for Solar Arrays Key Tasks and Responsibilities You will have the following responsibilities Thermal modelling of complex systems and components using ESATANTMS and THERMICA Performing and evaluating thermal analysis of solar arrays and components Presentation of results to project teams andor customers Preparing, performing and evaluating thermal tests of samples and complete solar arrays Supporting the thermal design of parts, components and solar arrays. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Physics, Aerospace Engineering or other relevant discipline Several years of relevant professional experience Proven knowledge of ESARADESATAN andor THERMICA Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German or any other European language is an advantage. You will have the following responsibilities Electrical design and analysis of solar arrays and components Technical responsibility in development projects in intuitional and commercial markets Monitoring of detailed design and manufacturing processes Preparation, surveillance and evaluation of acceptance and qualification tests Technical interface to the analysis design department, suppliers and customers Participation in RD projects Support in the proposal process technical aspects, costs.
