Baden-Württemberg ist nun besser auf die Rückkehr des Wolfes vorbereitet, sagt EuroNatur-Geschäftsführer Gabriel Schwaderer anlässlich der Veröffentlichung des Handlungsleitfadens Wolf. Dieser enthält klare Hinweise für den Umgang mit einzelnen zuwandernden Wölfen in Baden Württemberg.Noch gibt es keine bestätigten Wolfsmeldungen aus Baden-Württemberg. Doch es ist nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis die scheuen Jäger auch in den Südwesten Deutschlands einwandern. Während Naturschützer und Wolfsfreunde die ersten Wölfe im Schwarzwald mit Vorfreude und Spannung erwarten, genießt Meister Isegrim insbesondere bei Haltern von Nutztieren nur wenig Akzeptanz. Gemeinsam mit Fachleuten der Naturschutzverwaltung und Verbänden hat EuroNatur daher den Handlungsleitfaden Wolf entwickelt. Sobald die ersten Wölfe in Baden-Württemberg auftauchen, regelt dieser Zuständigkeiten, Kommunikationswege und Abläufe sowie die Überwachung der Wölfe. So können mögliche Konflikte bereits im Vorfeld entschärft werden. Ergänzt wird der Leitfaden durch den Ausgleichsfond Wolf, der jetzt eingerichtet wurde und zu dessen Trägern EuroNatur gehört.
