With goal of having new unleaded fuel that reduces lead emissions for general aviation (GA) by 2018, FAA selected 4 unleaded fuels for testing at William J. Hughes Technical Center. Shell and TOTAL, with one fuel each, and Swift Fuels, with 2 fuels, will work with FAA on phase-one testing, which will conclude in fall 2015.
