We have a strong presence at ESOC and EUMETSAT, as well as serving other ESA sites, the German Space Operations Centre and the German Galileo Control Centre. For our offices in Darmstadt, Germany we are looking for a Recruitment Officer fullparttime fm to further strengthen our existing Recruitment function. Tasks We regard Recruitment as an instrumental business support function to allow us to maintain and grow our business. The main goals of the Recruitment function are Identify the best possible candidates satisfying the clients requirements Win candidates to join SCISYS Support the operations areas in the sales process to win new business for SCISYS To achieve these goals the following specific tasks shall be performed Establish and continuously expand proactively a network of potential candidates in the Space domain considering all possible routes Understand clients requirements for specific support needs Manage and conduct the required job postings using internal and external means Identify the best possible candidates satisfying the clients requirements Arrange and conduct internal interviews with identified candidates Act as the main point of contact for the communications towards the candidates throughout the recruitment process and win them to join SCISYS Prepare the candidates for client interviews Plan and coordinate the logistics for client interviews and host the candidates Capture interview feedback Identify, organise and attend recruitment events Perform a regular review of the applied recruitment process and apply lessons learned Support the business managers in reviewing and improving staff motivation and with this the SCISYS employer qualities Essential requirements In addition to having a university degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, such as Human Resource Management, Executive Search or Talent Management, the Key Person shall have the following mandatory attributes Knowledge of and familiarity with German and EU employment law Work experience in running recruitment campaigns for an engineering domain Fluent command of the German and English language spoken and written Computer literacy with and competent use of standard office software, i.e. MS Office, covering word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, email and internet Friendly, confident and professional manner in appearance, communication and general conduct The Key Person shall possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be confident to deal with a wide variety of people and to influence at all levels. Heshe shall have excellent presentation skills. Heshe shall be able to conduct all activities in an orderly and disciplined manner, shall be able to work calmly and correctly under stress and must be able to work with the minimum of supervision. Desirable skills Experience of the following would be a distinct advantage Knowledge of a further modern European language Work experience in running recruitment campaigns within the Space domain Understanding and knowledge of the recruitment needs of typical clients such as ESOC and EUMETSAT, as well as the rest of ESA, other national and commercial satellite operators and the spacecraft manufacturers.
