We are currently looking for a SAP Finance Expert to work in the beautiful city of Frascati, Italy. This is an 8month assignment. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include supporting customer representatives in defining business processes and requirements to achieve business goals planning and implementing agreed IT solutions, through the whole project lifecycle, from preparation to closure, including analysis, design, development, test and handover to operations, managing all related procurements and contracts organising and leading the project team and managing supplier performance monitoring and controlling project scope, cost, schedule, quality, issues and risk, taking appropriate action on any deviations, ensuring compliance with QMS procedures and adopted project methodology providing regular and comprehensive status and progress reports to the Head of Section and governance hierarchy, escalating critical topics as necessary providing expert support to business counterparts, identifying areas for improvement in business processes, providing possible solutions compliant with IT strategy monitoring the evolution of portfoliorelated solutions available on the market and providing advice performing any other activities considered appropriate to cope with emerging IT Department needs on Finance domain analysing of ASIS Finance processes and related systems analysing of the impact of the migration to SAP 4HANA on all interfaces linked to the existing SAP ECC identifying the Finance Business processes to be reengineered in order to fully benefit of the SAP 4Hana identifying bottlenecks on the existing processessystems in the Finance area performing a business benefits analysis of S4HANA versus the current SAP ECC preparing and present to the internal community a System Proof of concept on SAP 4HANA advising the internal customer on solution directions and the move to the new technologies S4HANA including user experience and digitalisation aspects of the finance processes assessing the complexity and define together with business the way forward to SAP S4HANA for the Finance area preparing the Statement of work for the way forward relevant to Finance area other minor tasks related to the above points in agreement with the ESA Service Manager. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Solid background in business process analysis and reengineering of the CostAccounting processes Accounts Payables, Receivable, General Ledger accounting, Special General ledger accounting, Cost centre accounting, Fund management, Asset management, report painterwriter including a solid configuration of the SAP S4HANA Finance and previous versions. Proven experience in SAP FICO implementation projects of at least 12 years. Proven experience in at least one S4Hana Finance migration implementation. Experience in Sap S4HANA migration impact analysis. Integration experience between SAP FICO and MM. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem solving aptitude. Ideal candidate Requirements You should bring a university degree in the area of Finance and possess certifications in SAP financial modules, a minimum of 10 years experience in SAP Finance modules, with knowledge of the Public Sector Financial Modules and the following Experience within multicultural and international environments Good management and communication skills Strong problem solving and result driven approach. As a distinct asset will be considered the following qualifications Experience with public sector SAP implementation and support projects Knowledge of IPSAS rules Familiarity with ESA ERP tools and working environment.
