Rackspace prices IPO at low end of range, raises USD 704 million

(Telecompaper) Rackspace Technology has priced its IPO at USD 21 per share, the low end of the indicated subscription range. This puts the gross proceeds of the sale of 33.5 million shares at USD 703.5 million. The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to 5.025 million more shares at the same price.

Altice USA to sell just under half of enterprise unit Lightpath for USD 2.3 bln cash

(Telecompaper) Altice USA has agreed to sell just under half of its Lightpath fibre enterprise business to Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners, in a deal that implies an enterprise value of USD 3.2 billion. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter.

(Telecompaper) Rackspace Technology has kicked off its initial public offering on the Nasdaq market, with plans to raise up to USD 925 million. The initial offering of 33.5 million shares will be sold at a price of USD 21-24 per share, and the underwriters have an option to buy another 5.025 million shares within 30 days at the same price.

Amdocs acquires Openet in USD 180 million deal

(Telecompaper) Amdocs, global provider of software and services to communications and media companies, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Openet, the provider of 5G charging, policy and cloud systems. The deal will bring Openet technologies to Amdocs' customer base of over 350 service providers worldwide.

Ebay agrees USD 9.2 bln cash and shares deal to sell classified ads to Schibsted's Adevinta

(Telecompaper) Global online marketplace eBay said it has agreed to sell its classified advertising operations to Adevinta, the company spun off by Norway's Schibsted in 2019. The combined group will have positions in 20 markets, covering 1 billion people with 3 billion monthly visits. eBay said the USD 9.2 billion cash and stock deal will make eBay the largest shareholder of Adevinta.
