EPSSG EndtoEnd Instrument Chains Performance Engineer 1513116 Job Description We are looking for an Instrument Chains Performance Engineer to support our client EUMETSAT. Your tasks will be related to overall system aspects for endtoend instrument chains, i.e. involving the space segment platform and instruments as well as the ground segment. You will provide support in the area of system and mission performance spectral, radiometric and geometric engineering. Required Skills and Experience You shall have the following experience and background University degree in the domain of engineering, science, or equivalent At least 3 years of combined experience in the field of engineering of space andor ground systems, in the area of Earth observation from space in the field of endtoend mission performance analysis, budgeting and verification for spaceborne observing systems of imaging andor sounding instruments Good knowledge of relevant spaceborne observation instruments EPSSG satellites will embark sounders and imagers from the ultraviolet to the microwave range, a scatterometer and a radiooccultation instrument. Desirable Skills and Experience The following experience would be an additional asset You shall be able to fulfil the assigned tasks with a minimum of supervision, have a systematic approach to work, be able to plan your work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks.
