276 ABPZ20 KNHC 272335 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 PM PDT Thu Sep 27 2018 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Rosa, located several hundred miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. An area of low pressure centered a few hundred miles south of the Gulf of Tehuantepec continues to gradually become better organized. 637 ABNT20 KNHC 272334 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 800 PM EDT Thu Sep 27 2018 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Kirk, centered very near St. Lucia. Post-Tropical Cyclone Leslie, located over the central Atlantic Ocean several hundred miles west of the Azores, remains a powerful non-tropical low with storm-force winds. The associated shower activity has gradually become better organized around the low's center since yesterday, and Leslie is expected to again become a subtropical storm, or possibly a tropical storm, on Friday while it moves west-southwestward at about 10 mph over the north-central Atlantic. Shower activity has changed little in organization near an area of disturbed weather located about 300 miles south-southwest of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Satellite data and reports from a NOAA Hurricane Hunter aircraft indicate that the circulation associated with an area of low pressure a few hundred miles south of the Gulf of Tehuantepec has become a little better defined since yesterday. Post-Tropical Cyclone Leslie, located over the central Atlantic Ocean several hundred miles west of the Azores, remains a powerful non-tropical low with storm-force winds. The associated shower activity is gradually becoming better organized, and Leslie is expected to again become a subtropical storm, or possibly a tropical storm, tonight or Friday while it moves west-southwestward at about 10 mph over the north-central Atlantic.
