Role Description The Systems Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Mission Systems Engineer in the endtoend definition, development, integration, and operations of ispace Europes lander and rover missions. It is a unique opportunity to design oneofakind planetary systems meant to explore the most challenging environments on the Moon. The position requires a strong candidate exhibiting and practicing all the qualities expected of a skilled systems engineer a crossfunctional mindset, intellectual curiosity, always looking for gaps and means to bridge them, appreciation for process, and an understanding of the system two levels up and two levels down. The candidate must be driven, continuously selfimproving, and proud of herhis work. You will collaborate with ispace engineering experts in Japan, Europe, and the US. We expect you to learn quickly, contribute your own ideas and solutions, and collaborate effectively. We also are looking forward to learning from you about emerging techniques and software that we should adopt to enhance our work.
