Yahoo unveils suite to help developers monetize mobile ads

(Telecompaper) Yahoo has unveiled a new suite of services designed to help developers measure, advertise, monetize and enhance their mobile apps. The announcement was made during the company's first Yahoo Mobile Developer Conference at the Nob Hill Masonic Center in San Francisco. Yahoo said the new suite was an important step in the company's evolution into a mobile-first company. The suite includes Flurry Analytics with Explorer, and Yahoo App Publishing, which uses the capabilities of Yahoo Gemini (native ads), BrightRoll (video ads) and Flurry. Yahoo App Marketing, Yahoo Search in Apps, and Flurry Pulse make up the rest of the new suite. The services are free.
