Traveling car dealer leaves intact personal documents in Norwich dumpster

A local woman is working closely with the New York State Attorney General's Office after discovering garbage bags of unshredded, legible personal documents that were tossed in a dumpster in Norwich. On July 21, Dona Olsen, owner of Little Mews Rescue, stumbled across the bags in a dumpster she rents out back of her location in the North Plaza in Norwich.

Car dealer shows faith in prospects for market after strong first half

The company, which operates dozens of sites in Scotland under the Evans Halshaw and Stratstone brands, increased new car sales revenues by 16.5 per cent in the six months to June as consumers and fleet customers carried on spending. Used car sales revenues increased by 11.8 per cent in the period, during which the division achieved what Pendragon described as a record performance.

5. TrueCar hit with another dealer lawsuit

A group of 100 auto dealerships that are part of TrueCar's network are suing the online car-buying service for not disclosing to consumers the nature of the fees that dealers pay the company for each sale. The suit, filed today in state court in Los Angeles, alleges that TrueCar is engaged in "deceptive business practices" because its advertising touts transparent pricing but doesn't disclose the transactions fees of $299 for new cars and $399 for used cars that many dealers pay TrueCar for each sale handled through the buying service.
