The awarded European Commission EC contract to Spaceopal is more than just its satellites in space. Galileo Service Operations will provide highquality positioning, navigation and timing services to users across the whole world as a civilcontrolled service with guaranteed continuity of coverage. Main tasks and responsibilities The tasks of the Network Engineer are covering two activities combining the engineering and service troubleshooting of all Galileo Networks. This includes the endtoend engineering management and service troubleshooting of all Galileo Networks, from the Galileo WAN the GDDN to the CFI LANs MDDN, SDDN, etc with the objective of ensuring readiness of all related infrastructure and operational products for live operations. The responsibility is to support the GDDN Manager overseeing the GDDNMDDN and SDDN engineering processes and coordinating harmonized Networks operations preparation and validation activities, as well as to support the Service Trouble Shooting Manager in any analysis of issues impacting Galileo Service provision related to the Networks.
