We have been selected by ESA as Prime Contractor for the development of a complex, common infrastructure to support space systems monitoring and control in pre and postlaunch phases for all mission types. The system is developed by a consortium involving 19 companies across Europe. Telespazio VEGA is seeking to appoint a Project Manager to the PMO to support the Management Team in planning, internal monitoring and reporting and to support the Project and Delivery Manager in dealings with both client and subcontractors. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to work in the space domain. You will receive a permanent contract and will be based in Darmstadt, Germany. Candidates should demonstrate teamwork skills, communicate effectively and apply analytical thinking and sound judgment to problemsolving. Strong negotiating skills are necessary. Leading and motivating others, responsible risktaking, decisionmaking and relationshipmanagement are considered important skills. Ambassadorial skills and crosscultural sensitivity are required. The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these two languages is required together with a working knowledge of the other language.
