In Los Angeles, fashion retailer Forever 21 has partnered with PermaCity Solar, a solar energy provider, to install the largest single-rooftop solar system in L.A. County, and the third-largest in California. The 5.1 MW system on Forever 21's headquarters is to deliver 36% more electricity than standard solar panels and the renewable energy produced will avoid the production of nearly 14 million pounds of carbon dioxide per year.

NV Energy ranks among top solar utilities in United States, the company announced Thursday. The utility said that in a survey results released this week, NV Energy: "The 2014 success was primarily based on two utility-scale solar projects that achieved commercial operation in 2014, as well as NV Energy's support of rooftop solar energy installations through its SolarGenerations program," NV Energy said in a news release.
