Position Reference 591 The Assistant Controller will have the opportunity to support the Financial Management Section of the Technology, Engineering and Quality Directorate DTEC of the European Centre for Space Research and Technology and to monitor projects or activities from a financial and managerial point of view. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Coordination and consolidation of inyear and multiyear resource plans Multiyear analysis, historical trends Proactive ProgrammeProject controlling, analysis and reporting Interfacing with counterparts in other Directorates, such as financecorporate controllersproject controllers, as well as within DTEC Interfacing with Directorates Business Controller Administration Managers Third Party Activities Monitoring and control of Service Level Agreement Proactively contributing to the definition, implementation and improvement of management support processes, methods and tools Contributing to the multiyear performance assessment and specific analysis of the Directorate Supporting colleagues in the team to ensure smooth operations and continuous high standard of service to internal and external customers Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a University degree Bachelors from a recognised Institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Business Administration or Communications as relevant. You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience. You have excellent analytical and reporting skills with the ability to manage large and complex data sets. You have the ability to synthesise complex information. You have excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating a balance of assertiveness with the ability to work well in a team environment. You have a resultsoriented and proactive approach. You have excellent communication skills, and you are client focussed. You have proven ability to work autonomously, whilst being a cooperative team player in a diverse and international team. You have experience in creation and development of Tableau dashboards The following skills would be highly desirable You have SAP knowledge is considered a distinct asset for the position.
