We are currently looking for a CDF System and Software Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. CDF System and Software Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role you will be working at ESAESTEC and be responsible for the maintenance and development coordination of the Concurrent Design Facility CDF specific software infrastructure. Your tasks will include Direct participation in CDF studies and activities Support the evolution of the CDF infrastructure through prototyping and evaluation of CDF model architecture related applications and the development of new CDF Models Support the enhancement of the CDF infrastructure through the design, development, implementation and maintenance of specific databases Provide support to the development of the Open Concurrent Design Server product Investigate and eventually introduce emerging technologies related to Concurrent Engineering CE Provide CDF operational assistance, including training in the use of the new elements of the software infrastructure, Change Requests, changes and updates to CDF integrated design model, configuration control and version management of models. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline Expert knowledge of spacecraft system and mission design Intermediate knowledge of ITSW development, preferably aerospace related, including system design modelling tools and Concurrent Engineering applied to space mission assessment and design Knowledge of System of Systems SoS architecting and related tools such as System Architect, Focal Point, etc. and frameworks e.g. MODAF, TOGAF Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
