Controller, Spacecraft Operations Gibraltar Ref SES0295 Region Europe Location Gibraltar Company SES Category Space Operations Position Staff Context SES is looking for a talented technicianengineer male or female to control the expanded satellite fleet operated from our control center in Gibraltar. You will receive intensive training in Gibraltar and overseas in order to be accredited to work as a Satellite Controller for all the satellite types flown by SES Gibraltar. Responsibilities To be part of a team which safeguards the health of the SES satellites on a 247 basis To monitor, analyze and report on satellite telemetry data To command satellites for all required operations including station keeping manoeuvres and eclipses To provide support to and cooperate with other teams for the day to day operations of the satellites. Experience Qualifications A technicalengineering degree in electronics, aeronautics or equivalent qualifications is preferred Previous working experience in this field or similar would be an asset Software skills are considered as an advantage Excellent spoken and written English language is essential any other language being an asset Good analytical skills Flexibility, reliability and readiness to work on shift without direct supervision Errorfree performance in high stress situations Excellent selfmotivational qualities, good communication skills and being a teamplayer.
