Delta Air Lines to begin Pittsburgh-Cancun service in June

The Allegheny County Airport Authority confirmed the start of the service, which follows a request from Delta to the Mexican government in 2013. Delta Flight 527 will leave Pittsburgh at noon Saturdays and arrive in Cancun at 2:55 p.m. local time; Delta Flight 526 will leave Cancun at 3:45 p.m. Saturdays and arrive in Pittsburgh at 8:30 p.m. The flights are on MD-88 aircraft with flight times of about 3 hours and 45 minutes each way.
