EUMETSAT is now embarking on new and challenging satellite development programmes, shaping its longterm future. EPSSG Mission Operations Systems Procurement Manager REF. VN1413 Within the Low Earth Orbit Division, you will oversee all activities relating to Mission Operation Systems within the Ground Segment. During the EPSSG Ground Segment GS development, you will manage the engineering definition of the Mission Operations Component, the industrial activities associated with the procurement and development of the component and all related activities leading to the integration, verification and validation of the component. Following handover to operations, you will be involved in the postdelivery support activities in particular during the operational validation of the EPSSG Ground Segment and later on during the satellites and overall system commissioning activities. Together with a degree in Software, Space or System Engineering or a similar discipline, you will bring a proven track record in satellite and mission operation systems for polar andor geostationary applications. Your expertise should span specification, design, implementation, integration and testing across the full ground segment lifecycle, and you will be well versed in applying formal methodologies, standards and processes. Needless to say, you should possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, a very analytical mindset and the ability to lead teams. Finally, you should be able to work effectively in English and have knowledge of French.
