We are currently looking for a Spacecraft Operations Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Earth Observation Spacecraft Operations Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Earth Observation Missions division, your primary area of responsibility will be to support the Sentinel5P Spacecraft Operations Manager SOM in the preparation, implementation and execution of the LEOP and Commissioning phases, mainly in the areas of platform subsystems and Mission Planning, but extended to other areas as required. You will have the following tasks Support the SOM in the validation of the FOP in the volumes indicated by the SOM Support the SOM in FOS integration and tests Review of satellite documents LEOP and Commissioning operations support as required Familiarise with the missions being supported and in particular with the procedures and tools that are needed to perform the Sentinel operations. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Spacecraft Flight Operations knowledge, including FDIR, in particular for the platform and overall view of the Spacecraft systems engineering Packet Utilisation Standard Working in an operational environment Flight procedures life cycle, including validation anomaly investigations Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Earth orbit satellites operations, including experience in preparatory phase OPSPREP, special operations LEOP, Deorbiting campaign and preoperational phase Commissioning specially within the Sentinels missions Capable of coordinate and interact with other service providers in operations and other fields Experience with operational simulators, ideally SimSat Experience with satellite control systems, ideally SCOS2000 Knowledge of Earth Observations missions, in particular with Copernicus Sentinels TMTC databases, preferably SCOS2000 compatible Familiarity with MUST and with ESOC working environment and Quality Management System QMS will be considered an advantage Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
