A vacancy for a GNSS Navigation System Engineer Signal Performance mf has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Ottobrunn. The successful applicant will join TSEIG4TL3 TL3 Navigation Tools Rx Product Ger. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Support receiver data processing for ground segment algorithms Analyses of several PVT techniques e.g. RTK, PPP, differential GPS, etc. in different environments maritime, urban, rural, aeronautical, etc. Analyses of multipath in different environments using measured real life data from measurement campaigns andor monitor stations Assessment of signal distortions impact on user dependent receiver performance Assessment of navigation system error and error budgeting with regard to signal performance Analyses of GNSS navigation messages Define, plan, conduct and evaluate laboratory experiments to support tradeoffanalysis as needed Operation of tools and supporting the definition and upgrade of tools for performance analysis Combine simulated GNSS data with real measurements to generate modified measurement data sets Support system engineering activities related to SIS engineering, for instance maintenance of SISICD requirements in DOORS maintenance of verification control documentation Presentation of the achieved results in front of national and international customers, industrial partners, technical meetings, symposia and conferences. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Masters Degree in Navigation Electrical Engineering Communication Techniques Telecommunications Signal Processing Physics or equivalent Good theoretical and practical knowledge of satellitebased Navigation Systems GPS, Galileo, EGNOS, GLONASS and satellite navigation navigation signals, signal and receiver performance, multipath, navigation receiver processing, PVT techniques, etc. Solid experience in the analysis and usage of satellite navigation signals especially on signal performance aspects navigation receiver processing, acquisition tracking algorithms and performances Understanding of user and reference ground segment processing algorithms for RTK, PPP, DGPS, sensor fusion Kalman filter, ODTS Understanding of error sources and characteristics of GNSS receiver measurements e.g. multipath, noise, interference, spoofing, jamming, receiver imperfections, satellite distortions Experience with laboratory experiments and equipment e.g. constellation simulator, GNSS receiver Demonstrated ability to analyse complex technical problems and define innovative solutions Understanding systems engineering processes with requirements flow and review gates Well skilled and experience in engineering software generation and usage MATLAB andor CC Capability to work in an international team and with international customers e.g. ESA, EC on European international projects Flexibility to work in in different European locations colocated with our partners English fluent Please apply for this vacancy at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached.
