A vacancy for a Galileo Operations Security and Accreditation Engineer mf has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Munich. The successful applicant will join Galileo Operations Bid. Please note that the work location will be Oberpfaffenhofen. The Galileo Global Satellite Navigation System GNSS provides global positioning capability by means of civil unclassified signals for mass market and professional applications as well as classified signals for governmental applications. The Galileo System Infrastructure consists of a globally distributed ground infrastructure connected by a global data dissemination network and a constellation of MEO satellites. The European Commission EC is the owner of Galileo and the infrastructure. The European GNSS Agency GSA on behalf of the EC subcontracts the Galileo Service Operation. The Galileo Service Operator GSOp has the responsibility to operate the Galileo infrastructure, to maintain the Galileo infrastructure, to monitor and manage system security, and to accommodate system upgrades and evolutions. Airbus Defence and Space has identified the GSOp tender as a key opportunity and is producing the Best and Final Offer by mid of August. We are intending to win it and preparing a very strong team across all our entities and sites combining leadership, service driven business and technical expertise. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Reporting to Airbus GSOps Security and Accreditation Manager SAM Maintaining Airbus GSOps compliance to the Security Operating Requirements SecOps, Local Security Operating Procedures LSOP and Galileo System Accreditation and Certification Plan SACP. Representing Airbus GSOp in meetings with the representatives of the GSA supporting deployment and operation of Galileo Control System and Mission System and Network elements at the GCCs and other sites Undertaking Operations Risk Analyses and other Securityrelated activities under the direction of SAM or other Airbus GSOp team members. Attending GCC Coordination meetings, Anomaly Review Boards, Change Control Boards and NonConformance Boards, and a significant aspect of the task is to identify any potential violations of Security Operating Procedure Requirements SecOps This role will involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to degree level in Information Technology or similar Experience in Satellite and Ground Segment Operations preparation engineering Having expertise and background in IT Systems Security and Accreditation would be an advantage Having experience in Galileo Operations or Engineering would be an advantage Flexibility to work within an intercultural environment Process oriented mindset Negotiation level in English knowledge of German andor Italian is a plus Please apply for this vacancy at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached.
